KIRO 7 News is based in Seattle, Washington and CBS affiliate. As a TV news editor, I use AVID Media Composer to create visual content for various shows during a live broadcast. Often, I’ll edit voice overs, interview clips, show teases, and story packages; typically, 10 to 90 minutes before the live broadcast and OTT shows. This position required excellent teamwork and the ability to work different shifts (morning, evening, overnights) to prepare about 8 hours of visual content daily.
